All about those fresh-focused family meals. Cooked up these delicious herb-basted bone-in pork loin chops for dinner which paired perfectly with fresh herbs. The flavor variety of pork makes it a perfect match with other quality ingredients and it’s a great protein choice!

What you’ll need!
2 bone-in pork loin chops (about 14oz each, thick cut)
2 tsp salt
1 tsp five blend peppercorn
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp unsalted butter
3 sage sprigs
3 rosemary sprigs
3 thyme sprigs
3 garlic cloves

THEN;
1.Season both sides of the pork loin chop with salt and pepper. If desired, cut off fat at the tendon. Add olive oil to a cast iron pan then place in the seasoned loin chops.
2.After 5 minutes, flip over the loin chop to cook the other side for another 5-7 minutes. Let the loin chops rest for 3 minutes and then check the cooking temperature of each with a meat thermometer, it should read 145F degrees if fully cooked.
3.Lower to heat to lowest setting and add in butter, garlic, sage, rosemary and thyme. Baste the loin chops with the drippings and remove from heat after 2-3 minutes.
4.Plate the pork loin chops and enjoy!
